     Third grade is an awesome grade to teach!  This is my fourth year teaching third grade and at FCS.  I began volunteering for Mrs. Brown several years ago and decided to full time teach.  It has been an extremely great privilege to be here and to teach the children at FCS.  A couple of years ago I took the plunge and decided to coach Middle School Girls Basketball along with WYBL.  This experience has been great!  The best part is having a good rapport with the athletes and students. 

     I have one son, Daniel, who is in the sixth grade this year.  Daniel has been the basketball team’s manager (mascot) for the last two years.  He just loves basketball like I do.  My husband of 14 years has just retired with twenty-two years in the Army.  I enjoy many things but, I really enjoy teaching and coaching at FCS.   It is so cool when kids think that school is cool and a fun place to be. I believe that school should be a place to learn and a place to have fun.  I guess I am just a kid at heart. I like going to the movies, playing basketball, shopping, telling stories, and kids. I believe that God has placed me here at FCS to teach, encourage, and love the students that I come in contact with each and everyday.
