Fayetteville Christian School's
preschool program provides activities designed to enhance
cognitive, socio-emotional, physical and spiritual development.
These activities are set in a Christ-centered, warm, loving,
safe and supportive environment as a foundation for a positive
school experience. The teacher and assistant guide the children
throughout the class in child-centered, developmentally
age-appropriate activities.
Classroom activities are designed
to promote traditional thinking and listening skills. Through
thematic units the attempt is made to stimulate the children
socially, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Children are
encouraged to become more and more independent as they move
through our preschool program. At this young age, parental
involvement is very important and is encouraged as often as
possible as a link between home and school.
By providing a developmental
readiness program, Fayetteville Christian School's preschool
strives to prepare children for kindergarten with a storehouse
of understanding, concepts, skills and attitudes necessary for
academic success.
