Warriors’
Creed
We are warriors for Jesus and we fight through
adversity. No matter what form it comes in; school, sports, or life
itself. As a warrior I will represent the Father and Jesus well.
Average is not my goal because I’m fearfully
and wonderfully made, and I can do all things through Christ that
strengthens me. Anything that my hand finds to do I will do with
all my might.
Respect is something that warriors render to
all who have charge over them; be it parents, teachers, elders, or peers
alike. Warriors do unto others, as they will have others do unto
them.
Responsibility of a warrior is to let the light
of Jesus shine out of them for all to see, for they (the world) should
know you by the love you show to one another.
Integrity is the warriors’ watchword, because
the Truth will set you free regardless of the penalties.
Operating and displaying the fruit of the
Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self control; this is the warrior’s way of life.
Relentless in the quest to spread the gospel of
Jesus to the entire world though missions and Godly living is the
warrior’s call.
Serving is the warrior’s livelihood; for the
greatest among us are those who serve and meet the needs of others.
Attention All
Parents:
I need to address a small problem we have with our after
school events and games.
Please be here on time when picking up your child after away games or
school activities.
Our Teachers and coaches are doing us all a great service in spending
their free time to take our children to games or activities.
It is unfair to them to have to wait 15-30 minutes and sometimes an
hour for a parent to show up to pick up their child. After all,
they are tired too after these activities and they have their own
families waiting on them. I know one complaint is that we sometimes come
home later than the posted time from athletic games. We give our best
guess on what time we will be back but we cannot control the time a game
takes.
We do tell kids on the way home to call their parents to let them
know we are running late and what time we expect to be home. We even
allow them to use our cell phones. Most kids call but some do not. But
even then some parents come late.
For this reason, parents who pick up their children late will be
billed a late fee and we will compensate the teacher or coach for their
time.
The fee is $10 for every fifteen minutes and will be posted on your
school bill.
In His Service,
Tammi Peters
