Junior High
Detention Hall & Saturday Work
Day
Schedule: Mondays
- 2:45-3:15 pm
Wednesdays - 7:30-8:00 am
Fridays - 2:45-3:15 pm
Detention Hall is now in
Mrs. VanDeusen’s room; #20.
If the students report
more than 5 minutes late, they must serve their
D-hall on a different day. Students will either
write out of a college dictionary or spend their
time cleaning; (vacuum, clean walls, clean
desks, or whatever else needs to be cleaned).
When students are assigned
a D-hall, they must have their parents sign
it, and return the signed (pink) sheet to
Mrs. Crowther. They must serve their
D-hall within one week of receiving it.
If they do not serve it within the week, they
will be given a second D-hall.
If the student receives
six D-halls in one semester, he/she will receive
a Saturday Work Day. Saturday Work Days
are assigned at the teacher’s discretion,
usually once every other month. The day will be
posted on the Junior High “test & project”
calendar.
Cost: $25.00 cash or
check (check made out to the teacher)
Time: 8:00 am (Sharp!)–
12:00 noon
Dress in work clothes as
the students will be doing manual labor around
the campus.
