The lifestyle we encourage at Fayetteville Christian is reflected in our dress code. Cleanliness, neatness, appropriateness, attractiveness, and modesty are important guiding factors. Because it is often difficult to find school appropriate clothing, students are required to wear school uniform clothing. Cooperation in adhering to the regulations is a matter of personal integrity. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure their child is appropriately dressed. Final judgment rests with the teachers and administration.

DRESS CODE

The Lands’ End School Uniform Catalog is the catalog FCS promotes. School uniform bottoms may be purchased from department stores with uniform sections. Lands’ End School Uniform Catalogs are available in the office or the Warrior Store.

Shirts—All polo, oxford shirts, or sweatshirts must be purchased through the FCS store or the Lands’ End Uniform Catalog and have our logo on them. Available colors for polos are: Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Black, White, Light Blue, Red, Hunter Green, Maize (light yellow), Burgundy, and Pink. Boys’ oxfords are allowed in white and light blue. Girls’ oxfords are allowed in white, pink, yellow, and light blue. Please see the Lands’ End Uniform Catalog for samples of these colors. Elementary students may also wear FCS logo t-shirts Monday-Thursday, and/or any FCS spirit t-shirt on Friday.

Sports shirts and ties—Athletes are required to wear oxford shirts on game days. Boys also need to wear a tie, which may be purchased through Lands’ End or any local retailer. Girls are required to wear a skirt or skort on game days unless the temperature is expected to be below 40? all day.
