YEARBOOK
The elective class, Yearbook, is used to reveal the creative nature of God and to promote the various creative intelligences in our students. Yearbook is designed to communicate our love of Christ and our love of the Body of Christ at FCS. Much like the authors of the bible, we strive to create a publication that accurately reflects the events at FCS and to tell the “story” of each year. In this course the staff member will learn to use a variety of software to create layouts and work with deadlines to produce two publishable products.
BUSINESS
Through lecture, hands on demonstrations, guest speakers, projects, and working applications, this business class, using the Bible as the absolute standard, teaches basic life skills, money management, economics, and business applications which are essential to students graduating and entering the work force. The goal of the FCS business course is to teach students basic business, economics, and financial management skills using the Bible as the standard; applying God’s view of money, work ethic, and principles to current business applications.
HIGH SCHOOL CHORUS INCLUDES 8TH - 12TH GRADES

These skills are developed as tools to praise and worship God. Evaluations are based upon vocal sectional tests, oral quizzes, memorizations, techniques and performance expectations.
SENIOR HIGH DRAMA
Senior High Drama is an intensive study of all aspects of play production. Students learn acting skills such as improvisation, line memorization, and projection. They also learn how to develop other items required to perform a play such as costumes, sets, and lights. The students perform three productions a year. Their first is a short one-act play performed for the junior high and high school. This takes place in mid-fall. Next, they produce a two-act play open to the public in the early spring. Finally, the students perform a short children's play for the elementary classes just before the end of the school year.
