7TH GRADE MATH
7th grade general math uses the Glencoe Mathematics: Applications and Concepts, Course 2 curriculum. This course acts as a bridge between general math and pre-algebra. Students will be introduced to algebraic concepts such as integers and solving variable equations. In addition to an introduction to algebra, students will learn how to use math for real-life problem solving.

PRE-ALGEBRA
The Pre-Algebra curriculum provides the basic principles in algebra. The course will include the study of variables, expressions, integers, solving equations and inequalities, exponents, rational numbers, ratio, proportion, probability, percents, graphing linear equations, and basic geometry. Through this course, students will be exposed to core algebraic concepts.

ALGEBRA I
The goal of the Algebra 1 curriculum is to provide a solid foundation in basic algebraic skills. The course will include the study of expressions, equations, polynomials, linear equations, radicals, and quadratic equations. Problem solving skills will be enhanced through this course. Students who successfully complete this course will be prepared for the advanced math courses.
