PRE-K

Bible: Betty Lukens felt, ACSI and Wesleyan In Pre-K we learn daily Bible stories through visuals using Betty Lukens felt and Wesleyan. The students also participate in hands on puppets using ACSI. We also have weekly memory verses and color sheets that apply to our Bible stories.

Phonics: Sing, Spell, Read & Write, and Alphatales SSRW introduces a letter per week focusing on recognition and sound. Each letter has a special song and book using the Alphatales.

Numbers: Sing, Spell, Read & Write, and Numbertales SSRW incorporates shapes, colors and manipulative tools to enhance the learning of math concepts. Later in the year the number tale books are used to further grasp the numbers that are introduced weekly.

Handwriting: D'Nealian Our Pre-k students use the D'Nealian handwriting method which allows for easier transition to cursive writing. We practice capital, lower case letters and name writing.

Science/Social Studies: Weekly Reader Our Weekly Reader uses thematic units to introduce seasons, feelings, animals and holidays.
