The Gift of Volunteering

One of the richest blessings at Fayetteville Christian School is our volunteer base of parents and friends who have given countless volunteer hours and tireless efforts to make a significant impact today and for eternity. The Office of Development has the privilege and honor of giving oversight to volunteer activities at Fayetteville Christian School. This is part of Total Stewardship, the management of Time, Talent, and Treasure.

Parents who volunteer at Fayetteville Christian School not only support the school and meet fellow parents, but they also become a part of the educational process. By working together toward a common goal, parent volunteers often form lasting friendships and support one another. This is the amalgamation of the Family, Church, and School which we have come to know as Kingdom Education.

Numerous volunteer opportunities exist for current parents, past parents, alumni, and friends of the school. The goal is to get volunteers plugged in TODAY! Some of the most obvious opportunities are: Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF), Booster Club, Senior Trip Funding. There are other short term opportunities for volunteer service as well: Career Day, Development Office assistance, and more.

One gift that continues to give is the gift of volunteerism. There are lots of ways to volunteer, and you are invited to explore the opportunities. You know your abilities, skills, knowledge, and experiences, plus you know what your schedule will allow. So, if you would like to explore the possibilities, you are encouraged to contact the Office of Development. We will be happy to assist you in finding the right place to plug in at Fayetteville Christian School (Romans 12). For more information contact Perry Melton at (910)483-3905 or via email.
