HIGH SCHOOL
1. 40% of high school teachers have Master degrees.
2. Students can earn COLLEGE CREDIT for some classes taught at FCS.
3. We are non-denominational. We teach fundamental Bible truths that unite all Christian faiths.
4. We are Independent. We are not connected to a specific church and have students who attend over 100 area churches.
5. Our spiritual climate is noticeable.
40% of our high school students volunteer to be part of mentoring and discipleship program. Students meet before school, during lunch, and after school to disciple each other and study the Word of God together.
6. We have a student led chapel program and student led ministry bands.
7. The seniors take a mission trip every year to places like Zambia, Peru, Belize, Russia, Ecuador, Thailand, and China to help develop a heart for the lost and a passion for missions.
8. We provide lots of community service opportunities for our students so they learn to serve others.
9. We do not have any major discipline issues.
10. 90-100% of our students go onto 4 year colleges and universities each year.
11. We have had16 students recognized by the National Merit Program which is the highest achievement a senior can achieve. Of that number, one half attended FCS since kindergarten. They were selected based upon their SAT scores, scholarship and character. We also have had students selected to attend Governor's School.
12. Our seniors score between 1650-1800 on the SATs.
13. Our students love it here and want to do well in school. Unlike at public school, it is cool to be on the honor roll at FCS.
14. We have lots of extracurricular sports and activities to include Yearbook, Newspaper, Music, Brain Game and Band.
15. Our Brain Game team consistently is in the top 4 teams in the state.

JUNIOR HIGH
1. We have an accelerated curriculum that is above the level of public schools.
2. We understand that adolescents are trying to find themselves and the purpose God has for their life. Our rules focus on the areas of respect, diligence, and obedience, while understanding the issues of peer pressure and lack of focus which junior high kids often face.
3. There are student leadership opportunities such as Student Council, Praise Band, and Chapel Leaders.
4. We provide lots of community service opportunities for our students so they learn to serve others.
5. We have no major discipline issues with our students.
6. We offer a Success for Students course which is a study skills test prep course.
7. We have lots of appropriate social opportunities, extra-curricular activities, and our teachers are engaged in their students' lives.
8. We take field trips to places such as Williamsburg and Old Salem.
9. We offer music, band, drum line, drama, PE, weight lifting, study halls, and computer.
10. We have music and drama performances.
11. We offer an array of sports opportunities.

ELEMENTARY 1. Our K-1st grade curriculum is Developmental. This means our students have lots of hands on learning center activities as opposed to sitting in desks doing workbooks all day.
2. We have a cutting edge curriculum that encourages higher order thinking and problem solving skills in the elementary grades.
3. Our students participate in weekly chapels and daily Bible instruction.
4. We provide opportunities for community and worldwide outreach and support local missionaries and needy families.
5. We offer grade level field trips.
6. We offer basketball, soccer and cheerleading programs that focus on the fundamentals of the game for grades 1-5.
7. We provide STAR Reader, Accelerated Reader (AR), Early Literacy, STAR Math, library, PE, music, Computer, Band, and ballet. We are the only private school in the area with Accelerated Reader.
8. social activities celebrating Christmas, Easter, and AR, academic, and character achievements.
9. A multitude of parent volunteer opportunities to include assisting with reading groups, parties, and field trips.

ALL
1. Students have access to over 150 computers and advanced technology programs to include computer integrated curriculum. We have SMART BOARDS; interactive white boards are in some of our classes. We are the only private school in the area with this advanced technology.
2. One-third of our teachers have been at FCS for at least 5 years and several have been here 20 years. Our certified teachers are dedicated and committed to FCS.
3. The environment at FCS is warm, friendly, and family-oriented. We do not have unrest or divisiveness among parents that may occur at other schools.
4. We offer a bus route from Raeford and possibly the Spring Lake area beginning 2011.
5. Although we know we do not have the most attractive buildings in the area, we want you to know that it is what goes on inside the classroom that matters most. We have a 23 year history and the best overall qualified long-term staff in the area.
6. We offer Power School which is a web-based student information system accessible to parents around the world.
7. We have weekly chapel, daily Bible, and caring teachers that help students navigate through the stresses of childhood and helps them learn to make right choices and to become morally right with God.
