Each year, in lieu of buying Christmas gifts for the teachers, the school asks parents to donate money towards a special fund that is given to all FCS staff as a gift from parents at Christmas time. Our average teacher salary is below $30,000 so receiving extra money this time of year is especially appreciated by the staff.  It also saves parents the hassle of shopping and we can make sure that none of our staff, from the teachers to the janitors, is overlooked.   If you would like to contribute to this "FCS Staff Christmas Appreciation Fund", you can make an electronic payment here. If you plan to contribute, we kindly ask for you to do so no later than Wednesday, December 16 in order for us to distribute checks to our staff before we leave for Christmas break.
